In a security context marked by the omnipotence of armed groups, the Haitian National Police (PNH), in concert with its "international partners'', has quietly created the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG). This unit receives, among other things, training from the elite French unit, Recherche, Assistance, Intervention et Dissuasion (RAID). Objective: Fight against organized gangs that take hostage important parts of the territory. Enquet'Action investigated to find out more about this new unit, which joins the only elite unit, SWAT Team, that the country had until now.
